Western Railway will reinstate 82901/82902 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Tejas Express from 7th August. Due to lack of passengers and corona, this train stopped thrice in the last one and a half years. Booking will start with low flexi fare now. The fare will be almost equal to Shatabdi Express. 82901 Tejas will depart Mumbai Central at 15.45 hrs on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday and arrive Ahmedabad at 22.05 hrs on the same day.

82902 will depart Ahmedabad at 6.40 hrs on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday and arrive Mumbai Central at 13.05 hrs on the same day. This train will also stop at Andheri station till 31 October. This train will have AC chair car and AC executive chair car coaches. Kiosks will be set up at Ahmedabad, Surat and Mumbai Central stations for current booking.
