In Uttaran (TP Scheme No. 27, Final Plot No. 195 Opposite Utran Power Station) Moon Garden, prepared at a cost of Rs. 2.92 crore, was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Garden Committee of Municipal Corporation, Reshmaben Lapsiwala. Developed in 29,955 sqm, Moon Garden has lawns, walk-way and sports facilities.
Apart from this, 23 types of flower plants including Ratrani, Madhumalti, Champa, Gulmendi, Saptparni, Parijat have been planted. A wonderful sight is seen when the moonlight falls on the flowering plants at night. With the launch of Moon Garden, facilities for walking, playing and entertainment will be available to the people around.
Apart from this, the foundation stone of 324 houses to be constructed at a cost of Rs 23.62 crore was laid near Uttaran Garnala. At the same time, the fire station, fire quarters and workshop, built at a cost of Rs 5.78 crore, were also inaugurated in Katargam.
