Demand for alternative accommodation: Residents of dilapidated Bhestan housing are ready to move but seeking alternative accommodation

The residents of Bhestan housing are demanding alternative accommodation from the Municipal Corporation. On Thursday, EWS Saraswati Awas Sangharsh Samiti Bhestan told the mayor and the chairman of the standing committee that we should be given alternative accommodation. TP Scheme No. 22 Final Plot No. 70 was constructed in 2014.

In 2018, it was told in the stability report that this house is not habitable yet people are living there. On June 20, a 1-year-old girl had died after a roof slab fell on her house. Residents said that we will move but give alternate accommodation.
