Due to Eid being a holiday, no action was taken on Wednesday.

With this, the Municipal Corporation has vacated about 44 acres of land. Due to the holiday of Eid on Wednesday, the demolition action could not be taken. But during this time the path was made by removing the debris lying there and boards were installed. On the other hand, only 650 people have applied for rehabilitation so far. On the other hand, the corporation administration is yet to file the status report in the Supreme Court.

Let us tell you that on the order of the court, after about one and a half months, the action of vandalism was started from July 14. Till Tuesday, more than 2400 houses built in the colony were demolished. According to corporation sources, after the demolition, about 44 acres of land in Khori has been cleared so far. Corporation commissioner Dr. Garima Mittal said that on Wednesday there was no sabotage due to Eid being a holiday. But during this time a way was made there by removing the debris from the JCB and municipal boards were installed. He also informed that so far more than 650 people have applied for rehabilitation.

The corporation has not yet submitted the status report

According to corporation sources, by July 19, the Municipal Corporation had to submit a status report to the Supreme Court regarding the sabotage in Khori. But the report is not yet submitted. It is being told that till late Tuesday, the DA branch officials were busy preparing the report. Commissioner Dr. Garima Mittal told that the report has been prepared. The report will be submitted to the court on Friday.
