407 vehicle of district police personnel going from Sahebganj to Ranchi collided with Bolero pickup van coming from opposite direction.
On Thursday, there was a direct collision between a police 407 vehicle and a pickup on Bokaro-Ramgarh NH 23 under Kasmar police station area. Seven police personnel and the driver of the pickup were injured in the accident. The incident took place around 5 am in Dantu village near Rinku Hotel, just ahead of Bajrangbali temple.
All the injured are being treated at BGH. Actually, 407 vehicle of district police personnel going from Sahebganj to Ranchi collided with Bolero pickup van coming from opposite direction. Police station in-charge Rajesh Ranjan said that four police personnel are more injured. All have been sent to BGH for treatment. The injured Bolero driver is a resident of Lohardaga. Kasmar police station in-charge Rajesh Ranjan and police officers of Petarwar police station reached the spot.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the police 407 vehicle going from Jainmod to Ranchi got shocked and the vehicle rolled to the right. Then going from the wrong side and collided with the Bolero pickup van coming from the opposite direction.
