Dirty Picture Ke Khel: Actress Shilpa Shetty to be questioned again, crime branch eyeing a PNB bank account; Hearing on Kundra’s petition may be held in the High Court today

Hearing is possible today on the petition filed in the Bombay High Court on behalf of Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, arrested in the case of porn films. Kundra has applied for bail, calling his arrest illegal. Meanwhile, information is coming out that the Mumbai Police may again interrogate Shilpa, who was once a partner in his company. Today the actress can be summoned again. Earlier, he was questioned on 23 July.

Crime Branch believes that Shilpa is hiding many secrets of money trail. It is also suspected that Shilpa used her stardom to hide Kundra’s black money. Some important documents of Money Trail are in the hands of Crime Branch team, in this case Shilpa will be questioned again. During the earlier raid, the crime branch had seized Shilpa Shetty’s laptop, iPad and phone for cloning. He has been sent to the Ahmedabad Forensic Lab. It is believed that its report can come in one to two days.

Crime Branch suspects Shilpa’s PNB account
During the investigation, the team of Mumbai Crime Branch has come to know about a joint account of Shilpa and Kundra. In this account opened in Punjab National Bank, there has been a transaction of several crores in a year. The crime branch suspects that the earnings from Hotshots App and Bolly Fame App were sent to this account.

It has been found in the investigation that these were not direct transactions, but small amounts of money were transferred through different mediums. This is technically called the modus operandi of placement, layering, integration. On July 23, when the Crime Branch team raided Shilpa Shetty’s house, she was also questioned about it.

Raj’s lawyer called his arrest illegal
Raj Kundra’s lawyer Subhash Jadhav said the arrest of his client was illegal as none of the videos on his app can be termed as porn. He said that the police have filed a 4000 page charge sheet against Raj Kundra in which they cannot prove anywhere that any porn video has been made under section 67A. The sections under which Raj Kundra has been arrested get bail.

Kundra has been arrested under these sections
Raj Kundra has been arrested under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intent), 292, 293 (spreading obscenity) of the IPC and sections of the IT Act. Raj Kundra was arrested on July 20. After this, the court sent him to police custody till 23 July. On July 23, the court extended the police custody of Raj Kundra to July 27.
