A special team of Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu Police has arrested a man with 110 grams of chitta. The police have claimed that this is the biggest consignment of the district so far recovered. SP Kullu Gurudev Sharma said that earlier in 2020, 102 grams of chitta were caught from an accused in Bhuntar, while the team of Special Investigation Branch from Delhi had brought more than 6 kg of chitta.

As soon as the lockdown opens, many criminals who use Chitta have become active, on which the team of Special Investigation Branch is constantly monitoring and from time to time catching them and sending them to jail. In this episode, a team of Special Investigation Branch got information from the informer in Bhuntar area that a person is going to bring Chitta from Delhi.

The police team laid a trap and nabbed the accused along with a large consignment of bags. 110 grams of Chitta has been recovered from the accused, which is the biggest consignment till date in Kullu district. Earlier in 2020, 102 grams of heroin was recovered from a person. A case is being registered against the accused and further process of investigation is going on. Gurudev Sharma said that

The accused has been identified as Puran Chand son of Ganga Ram village, Post Office Katagala, Manikarn District Kullu, who has been arrested by the police and registered a case and started investigation.
