Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team has arrested a person named Sufran from Mira Road area of Mumbai. It is alleged that it used to buy cocaine from Nigerians and supply it to different areas of India. A Nigerian man has also been caught on the trail of Sufran.
NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede said, “We seized cocaine from him and at the time he was caught, he was on his way to deliver drugs somewhere in Madhya Pradesh.” Sufran lives in a high profile society located on Lokhandwala Road. NCB has got many information related to its drug customers from his mobile. Photos with many Bollywood actors have also been found in his phone.
NCB caught a Nigerian disguised as an auto driver
Based on Sufran’s statement, NCB has arrested a Nigerian drug paddler. Sameer Wankhede told that a member of his team has caught the accused by disguising himself as an auto driver. During which efforts were being made to catch him, he started manhandling with the officials of NCB, after which the local people caught hold of him and thrashed him fiercely. The matter got so big that the police had to be called on the spot to save him. During the search, NCB recovered cocaine and MD drugs from him.
Their connection with Bollywood stars is being investigated
The arrested accused has been identified as Edwin Okereke. Both were produced in the special court of NCB today, from where the court has sent them to four-day custody. NCB has now started investigating the people related to him by taking his custody and finding out which Bollywood stars had links with him.
