Acting on the demand of House Owners Welfare Association, Sector 10, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has decided to supply electricity from two feeders instead of one feeder in the sector for the purpose of uninterrupted power supply in Sector 10.

SK Sharma, chairman, India-friendly and chief guide, said that for the last 15 days, for the relief of the residents of the sector suffering from 8 to 12 hours of unannounced power cut in Sector-10, the association on July 2 sent Shashank Anand, the Managing Director of Electricity Corporation. In the demand letter, it was warned that if the power supply is not restored soon, then the association will stage a sit-in in front of the electricity office.

Association’s founder NC Swamy, President BM Kaushik, General Secretary NK Khosla, Senior Vice President Amit Gupta, Subhash Bhardwaj and Subhash Sharma said in a joint statement that on the demand letter of the Association, the survey of Sector 10 was conducted by the Electricity Department. It was found in this survey that the feeder supply in the sector is not able to tolerate overload.

Efforts are being made to improve the problem of overloading by dividing the power supply of Sector 10 into two parts. Bharat Friendly, Prem Lal Gupta, RK Sharma, Kusum Arora, GD Batra, DN Monga, Brijlal Jain, Sunil Gupta and Mukesh Goyal informed that instead of one feeder in Sector 10, electricity will be supplied from two feeders.
