The crime branch of Ahmedabad Police has solved the famous Sweety Patel missing case of Gujarat. Sweety Patel (37) has been murdered. Police inspector husband AA Desai (Ajay Desai) turns out to be Sweety’s killer. Desai disposed of the body with the help of Kirit Singh Jadeja after killing his wife on the midnight of June 4-5.

Kirit is a local Congress leader from Karjan (Vadodara). Desai and Kirit took Sweety’s body in the car from Karjan to Atali village-Bharuch via Amod and Vagra. Here they burnt the dead body in a deserted part behind a hotel. Desai himself was posted in the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Vadodara District Rural Police.

He confessed to the crime in front of the Ahmedabad Police. Sweety was said to be missing from the house in Karjan since the midnight of June 4-5. The truth was that the couple had a fight on the same night. During this Desai strangled Sweety to death.

Sweety married Ajay Desai in 2016. They also have a two year old son. This was Sweety’s second marriage. Desai and Jadeja have been booked for murder and destruction of evidence. A case has been registered against Desai in the same police station where he was posted.
