A shelter home was built in a government school for the victims of Ambeghar and Morgiri villages in Patan taluka of Satara. The former CM had reached this shelter home.

Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis and BJP leader Praveen Darekar are visiting the flood-affected areas of Maharashtra since Wednesday. In this episode, both the leaders had reached Ambeghar and Morgiri villages of Patan taluka of Satara in western Maharashtra. On July 23, 15 people were killed in landslides in Ambeghar and Morgiri.

A shelter home in a government school has been prepared for the citizens of these villages. Former CM Fadnavis met the victims at Morgiri village school and promised them all possible help. It was noon while meeting the victims here and in the meantime food arrived for them. After this, Fadnavis also expressed his desire to have food by sitting with him.

Expressing happiness, the villagers arranged for him to sit separately, but instead of sitting on the chair table, the former CM started eating food with the villagers on the ground. Praveen Darekar along with him also ate food with the victims.

After eating the food, Devendra Fadnavis said, “This loss is huge. Everyone needs rehabilitation. There has been heavy damage to agriculture and housing. They should be given a new house according to their choice. All these people should get extra help.
