There are 200 vacant posts of Professor in the private colleges of South Gujarat attached to the University. On the matter of filling these posts, colleges have been saying that only qualified candidates are not being found. In view of this, Veer Narmad University will now monitor the recruitment of professors in private colleges. Now, when the college will release the advertisement for the recruitment of professor, then the university will also have to inform about it.

Apart from this, candidates will also have to submit a copy of the application along with the necessary documents to the university. University will check the eligibility of the candidates. After that, it will be seen whether the college has considered the candidate eligible or not. Students have been complaining to the university that many subjects are not taught in the college. Their periods remain empty because there are no professors. New professors come every year.

Now there will be no confusion
Syndicate member Kiran Ghoghari said that the proposal to monitor the recruitment of professors in colleges has been passed in the syndicate itself. Many times the university used to get complaints that the candidates are not getting jobs even after having the required qualifications.
