A cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in Gandhinagar on Wednesday. Many important decisions were taken in this meeting. The second wave of Corona proved fatal for the people, so now the government has become aware of the possibilities of the third wave. Apart from this, in order to take precautions from the third wave, the government has started preparations in advance. After the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has made many big announcements including Dindayal Clinic.

City scan charges reduced by Rs 500
Nitin Patel organized a press conference and told that now if the R-PCR test is to be done in a private lab, then its prices have been reduced. The kit prices have been relieved. Now the charge of RT-PCR test in private labs has been reduced from Rs 700 to Rs 400. The charge for taking test samples to patients from home was Rs 900, which has now been increased to Rs 550.

Free Tests Under Maa Aur Vatsalya Scheme
Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said that now those who are yet to take the second dose of corona vaccine on the coming Sunday will also be vaccinated. The state government is serious about the third wave of Corona. Now gradually relaxation is being given in the state. All people will be protected by giving the vaccine. While there is no third wave in the state, we also pray to God for this. Free tests will be conducted under the Maa and Vatsalya scheme. 112 crore machines will be purchased for city scan MRI facility at the district level by including all the expansions in the state.
500 rupees have been reduced in city scan test.

Approval of expenditure of 85.50 crores at the district level
If there is a need to get the test done at the airport, then till now its charge was 4 thousand rupees, which has been reduced to 2700 rupees now. On the other hand, the charge of HRCT test was Rs 3 thousand, which has been reduced to Rs 2500 now. This test is being done free of cost at all places where there is government machinery and in government hospitals. Nitin Patel said that in the third wave, 17 new city scan machines will be procured for district level hospitals, the tender process of which has been started. An expenditure of Rs 82.50 crore has been approved for the state’s medical college, district level hospital.
