Three officers of the corporation have also been found guilty in the second investigation in the mess of the sewerline estimate in ward number five of NIT. The second investigation was done at the behest of Lalita Yadav, the municipal councilor of Ward 5. The responsibility of the second investigation was given to Additional Commissioner Dr. Vaishali Sharma. He has submitted his investigation report to the Corporation Commissioner Dr. Garima Mittal. Now a letter has been written to the government for action against the accused officers.

This is the whole matter of error

Let us inform that Ram Singh Yadav had complained to the corporation administration about the disturbance in the estimate made for cleaning the sewer line in ward number 5. Taking cognizance of the complaint, the corporation administration handed over the investigation to Prashant Atkan, Joint Commissioner of NIT. The complainant alleges that the corporation floated 3 tenders on 26 April 2021 for cleaning various sewer lines in the ward. Out of which the estimates for cleaning the sewer line made in 2 tenders are completely bogus, in which a fake estimate has been prepared to get the same sewer line cleaned 3 times in 2 different tenders. Apart from this, the 36-inch sewer line length in the tender is 865 meters, it has been shown by the corporation officials as 1615. They allege that the XEN, SDO and JE together had planned to make more budget section by showing more length of sewer line.

In the first investigation also the officers were found guilty

In the investigation of Joint Commissioner Prashant Atkan, XEN Vivek Gill, SDO Amit Chaudhary and JE Sandeep of outsourcing were found guilty. After submitting the report, the corporation commissioner dismissed JE Sandeep of outsourcing. Whereas a letter was written to the government for action against XEN and SDO. After this, on the behest of the municipal councilor, the commissioner got it investigated again. This investigation was done by Additional Commissioner Dr. Vaishali Sharma. Corporation Commissioner Dr. Garima Mittal told that the report of the second investigation has come. Both the officers have been found guilty in that too. A letter has been written to the government for action against them.
