Ukai is getting 1,31,560 cusecs of water due to opening of Hathnoor Dam gates and heavy rains in the upper areas. The water level of Ukai rose by 5.50 feet to 320.50 feet in the last two days. 600 cusecs of water is being released from Ukai. Due to continuous inflow of water into the dam, the water level is likely to rise by 2 feet.
The rule level on Sunday was 333 feet. The water level is 12.50 feet below the rule level. On the other hand, the city received sporadic rain on Sunday. However, the maximum temperature dropped by 3 and the minimum temperature by 1.6 degrees. The maximum temperature was recorded at 29.4 degrees and the minimum temperature was 26 degrees. The wind blew at a speed of 11 kmph.
