In the hit and run case in South Rohini area, an unidentified car rammed a traffic constable. The constable was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition. The injured has been identified as Manoj Kumar. Police have registered a case against unknown car driver. Police are trying to identify the driver by scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the route of the incident.
According to the information, Manoj Kumar is posted as a constable in the traffic police. He is posted in Sector-7 Rohini area. His duty is from 8 pm to 8 am. Police personnel posted on Libra-58 and 7 PCR vehicles were doing joint checking in front of 24/7 located Sector-8.
At 12.50 pm, a car with black glass was seen coming very fast. Whom he signaled to stop. But the driver increased the speed of the car. The driver hit the constable severely. Due to which he fell injured on the road. Manoj was immediately admitted to Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital. Doctors described Manoj’s condition as critical.
