Four people were killed in a road accident near Chhuchapura village in Chhota Udepur district of Gujarat late Tuesday night. The accident took place due to a head-on collision between the car and the ST bus, in which the car blew up and all the four occupants of the car died on the spot. There were also about 30 passengers in the bus, who narrowly escaped being the victim of the accident. The four deceased are residents of Khargone city of Madhya Pradesh.

According to the information received from Chhuchapura village, the accident happened at around 3.45 pm. The sound of the car (MP 10 CA 6938) colliding with the bus was heard far and wide, which shocked the villagers and immediately rushed to the spot. The villagers informed the police and 108 ambulance.
The accident happened at around quarter to three in the night near Chhuchapura village.
By the time the ambulance arrived, the villagers had taken out the bodies of two people, but the bodies of the other two could not be retrieved due to the car being blown up. The other two bodies were retrieved by cutting the front part of the car with a JCB machine at around 5.30 am. The four bodies have been sent to the government hospital in Sankheda for postmortem.
