In the name of ecogreen company which collects door to door garbage from the city, some contractors are also making recovery from street vendors by printing fake receipts. This game is going on all over the city but the company is not aware of it. After the matter came to the media, company officials say that cognizance will be taken on it. A complaint will be lodged with the police against those who are extorting money from street vendors of the city.
For the past four years, the Ecogreen company has been collecting garbage door to door in the city. In return, the company also charges a nominal fee. About 800 tonnes of garbage is generated from the city in a day. Which is picked up from the collection center and sent to Bandhwari plant. Some contractors have also started making recovery in the name of this company. Since being such a big city, even the company is not able to investigate everywhere. Contractors are taking advantage of this. These people are collecting user charges from the street vendors who set up shop in the market by printing a fake receipt in the name of the company.
This matter has come up in Sector 28-29. 120 rupees were recovered in the name of ecogreen from the shopkeeper who set up Kachori street here. Nearby shopkeepers told that here every month the contractors of Ecogreen come to the market and collect from the street vendors. In this regard, the company’s CEO Sanjay Sharma says that his company does not take user charges from street vendors. If anyone is taking user charges in this way, then FIR will be lodged against him. Sharma has asked the street vendors not to pay user charges.
