Incident: Cigarettes, gutkha and tobacco worth two and a half lakh rupees stolen from shop in Varachha

Thieves stole tobacco, gutkha and cigarettes worth 2.5 lakh rupees from a cigarette-tobacco shop near Udhna Darwaza of Salabatpura police station area. The four have targeted the victim’s shop for the second time. Earlier in July also thieves had stolen lakhs of rupees from this shop.

According to police sources, Nikunj Rajendra Rewariwala, resident of Krishna Nagar Society-2 near Choksi Wadi in Adajan, has a tobacco product shop and godown in the name of Nikunj Traders next to Passport Service Center near Udhna Darwaza. On August 13, he had gone out for some work. When he came back, he matched the items of the shop and he got less goods. Thereafter, he filed a case of theft.
