The youth injured in the attack on Thursday afternoon near the NIT number three mosque of Sainik Colony police post area, kept on suffering for about ten minutes on the middle road and remained a public spectacle. When there was a traffic jam, the traffic police reached the spot and picked up the bleeding youth from the middle of the road and sent him to the hospital by auto. The injured youth has been identified as Shamshad son Ahmed, resident of Badkhal.

According to the information, Shamshad was going somewhere near the mosque at NIT number three on Thursday afternoon. Then the attackers injured him by hitting a brick and rod on the head. As soon as the injured Shamshad fell on the road, a crowd of people gathered there. Surprisingly, Shamshad, lying in a pool of blood, was lying on the middle of the road for about ten minutes, but no one thought it appropriate to take him to the hospital. The crowd kept staring at him in awe. Seeing the traffic jam, the traffic policemen posted at the chowk reached the spot and picked up Shamshad from the road and sent him to BK Hospital via auto. He was admitted to a private hospital as his condition became critical. Police say that the youth was attacked due to old enmity. The attackers are said to be residents of Nehru Colony. FIR will be registered on receipt of complaint.
