The scrap dealer of Bardoli lost Rs 5 lakh in the greed of Rs 7.50 lakh. The complainant lodged a case at Umra police station. The accused had written ‘S’ in English on his right hand. After this, on June 17, the trader went out to collect Rs 5 lakh for free money. The accused named Amit called him on Hazira Road. The accused told him that my man is standing ahead and called him from Abhava road near Vesu Agam shopping mall. There, 2 people who came by scooty took 5 lakh rupees from the complainant and left from there, saying to give free money.
Even after watching the road for about an hour, when those people are not there, they called him near Bardoli Isroli village and switched off the mobile. Thereafter, the complainant lodged a case at Umra police station. Based on this, the police have arrested the main facilitators Mohammad Nooren, Mohammad Irshad and his accomplice Suraj Gyanchandra Gupta.
However, 2 people are still absconding. Mohammad Nooren, who called the businessman, had come to Surat to collect more money. According to the police, these miscreants have cheated money from many people in the name of trust.
