The body of Raja Saheb Virbhadra Singh.
Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh is no more with us. On Friday, his body will be brought to the Ridge Ground at 9 am from his residence, Holy Lodge. Here people will be able to have the last darshan of Raja Saheb till 11:30.
After this, the body will be kept for darshan at Rajiv Bhawan Congress till one o’clock. Where former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi will come to pay tribute to him. BJP National President JP Nadda can also come for the last glimpse of Virbhadra Singh.
At one o’clock in the afternoon, the family will leave for Rampur with the body. The body will reach Rampur at 6 pm. On Saturday, July 10, the body will be kept for darshan at Padam Palace, Rampur from 8 am to 2 pm. The funeral will be held in Rampur at 3 pm.
Due to corona and multi-organ failure
Veteran Congress leader and six-time Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra Singh passed away at IGMC Shimla in the early hours of Thursday. He was 87 years old. IGMC Senior Medical Superintendent Dr. Janak Raj told that he breathed his last at 3.40 am.
He was found to be suffering from corona virus twice on 12 April and 11 June, after which his health started deteriorating. Virbhadra Singh was admitted in the hospital for the last two months. But on Monday, doctors put him on ventilator as his health deteriorated. Since then Virbhadra Singh was in an unconscious state and died on Thursday morning due to multi-organ failure.
15 days mourning has been announced on the death of Virbhadra Singh. No political programs of the party will be organized during this period. Party General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta gave this information.
