Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has proposed to build a station at Pyali Chowk on the metro line between Bata Chowk Faridabad and Vatika Chowk Gurugram. Along with this, three other stations have also been proposed on this line. These include Sushant Lok, Sushant Lok-3 and Rose Wood City. The corporation has sent this new proposed map to Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Limited and has sought approval. The Corporation has also sent a new proposal to the Haryana Government showing these stations on Google Map. Under this proposal, the entire metro line will be elevated and its cost will also be less than the first proposed line.
NIT MLA Neeraj Sharma was making constant efforts to demand the construction of a metro station at Pyali Chowk. His effort paid off and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has proposed to build a station at Pyali Chowk. According to MLA Sharma, he has been continuously raising this matter. He also started a big movement to include Pyali Chowk in the metro line. According to the MLA, the construction of a metro station at this place will facilitate the movement of lakhs of people of not only Badkhal but NIT and Ballabhgarh Vidhan Sabha. According to Sharma, recently he has held a meeting with the officials of Metro Corporation in Delhi regarding this issue and appealed to speed up the project which has been sluggish due to Corona. According to the MLA, he had also demanded from Haryana CM Manohar Lal that work should be started on this life line connecting the two cities at the earliest.
