- Sessions Judge’s Retirement Party’s Fake Invitation Card Was Made To High Court Judges, Sent To Ministers, Party Had To Be Canceled

‘The judge’s pride has become disgraceful’. The arrogance was such that the judge had to cancel the party. It happened that in honor of Justice PS Dhaliwal, some judges personally held a party in the hotel and called some selected judges. But someone made a fake invitation card and wrote that the party is being organized to celebrate the retirement of Justice PS Dhaliwal.
This invitation card was sent through post to about 400 people by fake signing of the judge. The matter came to light when the organizers of the party started getting calls about this. After this he had to cancel his party.
On the complaint of President-cum-Judge Sanjeev Dutt Sharma, Mohali Consumer Forum, Mohali Phase-I police have registered a case against unknown person under sections 419,465,469,471 and 500. Due to the matter being related to the judges, the district police is now also taking the help of cyber cell. SHO Phase-1 Shivdeep Singh Brar said that a case has been registered, now investigation is going on.
Before the party was organized, the phone calls started coming
According to sources, when the organizers of the party started getting calls, it came to know that fake invitation letters have been sent to the people telling them to be a retirement party. Investigation revealed that these fake cards have been sent to 400 people. After this the party was cancelled.
It was told from the police that the accused prepared an invitation card by telling the retirement party of the judge. On this, the organizer made a fake sign of the judge and sent it to many people through post. This fake invitation card was sent to several judges, ministers and secretaries of various departments of the Punjab-Haryana High Court.
Did this with the intention of spoiling the party
A complaint was given to SSP Satinder Singh on behalf of Mohali Consumer Forum Judge Sanjeev Dutt Sharma. Told that Justice PS Dhaliwal had retired from the High Court some time back. A dinner party was organized in his honor at Shivalik View Hotel in Sector-17 on Friday. Selected judges were called to it. But some unknown person, with the intention of spoiling the party, sent forged invitation cards to 400 people under the signature of the organizing judge.
