The monsoon session of the state assembly is starting from Monday. There will be a total of 10 sittings in this session, which will run till August 13. August 5 and 12 will be non-official member working days. In this session which lasted for ten days, 853 questions have come. In these, more questions have been received regarding the Corona epidemic, the steps taken by the government for the unemployed youth during the Karena period, the arrangements made in the hospital for the Karena victims, the condition of the roads, vacant posts in health institutions and increasing criminal cases. There have been 4 discussions under Rule 101 and 7 under 130 in the session.
Following the Corona protocol, the monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha will be organized. Assembly Speaker Vipin Singh Parmar said that on the first day a condolence resolution would be brought on the death of former CM Virbhadra Singh and Jubbal Kotkhai MLA Narendra Bragta. An all-party meeting was called for smooth conduct of the session, in which cooperation has been sought from all the members. This time the visitors meeting the Chief Minister will be allowed to enter. Other people including the members coming to the house will also have thermal scanning. This time due to Corona, 800 officers and employees will be issued passes instead of 1200.
The drone will be kept under watch for the security of the assembly.
The security of the assembly will be monitored from the drone. This time arrangements have also been made for automated number plates and head count cameras. In view of the Corona infection, only after thermal screening, will the people be allowed to enter the Assembly House. Passes will be issued to a maximum of 40 people in a day to sit in the audience gallery. All ministers will have only essential staff. The seats of all the members in the house have been separated by six feet high polycarbonate sheets.
