The havoc of speed has come to the fore in the city. During the rain on Thursday, this speed swallowed the life of an innocent person crossing the road at Krishna Chowk. The collision was so strong that the innocent jumped up and fell for a long distance. He died before reaching the hospital. On receiving the information, the Palam Vihar police station reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. The police is investigating the matter. SI Dinesh Rathi, who is probing the case, says that the accused driver will be arrested soon. The CCTV footage installed in the surrounding area is being scrutinized.

Mantu Shah lives with his family in Gupta Colony. On Thursday afternoon, his eight-year-old son Ayush had gone to Krishna Chowk for some work. When he was crossing the road, a Scorpio came at high speed from Krishna Chowk towards Bajgheda flyover. This car hit Ayush who reached in the middle of the road. The collision was so strong that Ayush jumped and fell a long way. He bled in this incident.

According to eyewitnesses, the accused Scorpio driver fled the spot due to rain. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and identified the deceased and called the family members. Seeing the son in a bloody condition, the ground slipped under the feet of the parents. The people living nearby also gathered and took care of the crying family. The police sent Ayush to Sector-10 Civil Hospital in a bloody state, where the doctors declared him brought dead after examination. The police is investigating the matter.
