Now action will start at any time: Administration started removing debris in Khori, indications to start action from Friday

Municipal corporation, police and administration officials reached Khori Colony.

On the orders of the Supreme Court, sabotage activities started in Khori Colony. On Thursday morning, the entire administrative staff reached the spot and started the work of removing the accumulated debris after the demolition action taken earlier. A place to store new debris can also be found and the way can also be cleared. High officials of municipal corporation, police and administration camped in Khori Colony from 6 am on Thursday. All the roads were closed with barricades so that there could be no movement of any kind. Fearing sabotage, many people were also seen carrying their belongings. It is being told that the administration has also removed many semi-constructed houses. It is being considered as a kind of preliminary act of sabotage. There have been indications from the officials that action will be intensified from Friday.

At around 6 am on Thursday morning, all the administrative officers including Municipal Commissioner Dr Garima Mittal, DC Yashpal and DCP NIT Anshu Singla reached Khori Colony and explained to the people there. During this, all the officials said that the construction material in which bricks, door frames, windows, doors and other essential items are very expensive. In such a situation, people who want, they can pick up their debris and essential items. For this, a large number of earth movers and trucks were arranged by the administration there. After this a large number of people came forward and started carrying their belongings. By the afternoon, a large number of items and debris of the houses had been picked up. Corporation sources said that after the earlier demolition in Khori, the debris was not removed from the spot. In such a situation, the officials cleared the way by removing huge amount of debris by installing JCBs and trucks. The action taken by the Municipal Corporation and the police administration on Thursday is being considered as the initial phase of starting the demolition action. It is clear from this that the administration can start action from Friday morning itself.
