National Lok Adalat will be held on September 11 at District and Sessions Court Complex Shimla. Ramnik Sharma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority said that in the National Lok Adalat, various types of cases will be settled on the basis of agreement. During this, criminal compoundable offences, NI Act cases, money recovery cases, etc. will be heard and disposed of.
Apart from this, road accident claim cases, labor dispute cases, electricity and water bills, matrimonial disputes (except divorce), land acquisition matters, salary, allowances and retirement related matters will be heard and settled.
In this Lok Adalat, the cases will be settled only with the consent of the people. He said that the cases which have not yet been filed in the court, those cases will also be disposed of in the Lok Adalat. He said that the interested person can apply on plain paper to the District Legal Services Authority office Shimla at the earliest to get their cases settled.
