A youth was killed by a bullet fired from a service revolver of Bihar’s trainee DSP Ashutosh Kumar, who had come for a picnic from Bihar in the Fisri forest near Jawahar Ghat under Chandwara police station area. The incident happened late Friday evening. After the incident, the police is interrogating Ashutosh Kumar along with two more of his friends in custody. Ashutosh Kumar came here for a picnic with his three friends. During this, Sourav was taking a revolver for photographs and during this time a bullet was fired. The bullet hit Nikhil Ranjan (25) in the chest and he died on the spot.

Trainee DSP Ashutosh Kumar is a resident of Rohtas (Bihar). He is also in charge of Simri police station of Buxar. On a two-day holiday, he had come for a picnic with friends. Police also found a bottle of liquor at the spot. Ashutosh Kumar, Siddharth Kumar and Saurabh Kumar are being interrogated by the police. After Nikhil, a resident of Beur in Patna, was shot, his friends took him to Jhumri Tilaiya private clinic. where he was declared dead. He was immediately brought to Sadar Hospital Koderma. After this the police was informed.
