Oxygen cylinders received by the district administration
- Maruti Suzuki Company has imported oxygen cylinders from Japan from Suzuki Motor Corporation.
During the Corona period, many companies from the corporate world, including voluntary organizations, have come forward and cooperated at their level to overcome the shortage of oxygen in district Gurugram. In this episode, on Friday, Maruti Suzuki Company has presented 200 oxygen cylinders to the Gurugram district administration, which were received by Deputy Commissioner Dr Yash Garg and Gurugram Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mukesh Ahuja.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Yash Garg thanked the officers of the company for this work of Maruti company and said that keeping in mind the importance of oxygen, the gift given by Maruti Suzuki Company is also an inspiration for other companies working in the district. Will work He said that Maruti Suzuki Company has cooperated with the administration at various levels in the past as well. Maruti company has helped in setting up oxygen plants in 5 government hospitals of the district, for which the administration is thankful to them.
Dr Garg said that these oxygen cylinders provided by Maruti Suzuki today would be included in the oxygen cylinder bank being made in the District Red Cross Society so that oxygen can be supplied to the citizens in case of any emergency.
Municipal Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Ahuja also said that as a result of the decisions taken by the district administration keeping in mind the experiences of the second wave of corona, the civil hospital of Gurugram district has become almost self-sufficient in the field of oxygen. Many times the pandemic is bigger than you anticipate, in such a situation, the offering by the Maruti Suzuki company will prove to be very helpful.
Rahul Bharti, executive director of corporate affairs, Maruti Suzuki, said that the cylinders presented to the district administration were sent by Japan-based Suzuki Motors Corporation. He said that Suzuki Motor Corporation has dispatched around 500 oxygen cylinders out of which 200 were delivered today, rest 300 cylinders would be delivered to other parts of Haryana.
