The parent board on Thursday filed an application to the Fee Regulatory Commission (FRC) and demanded 25 percent relief in fees. Umesh Panchal, president of the Guardian Board, said that in the second wave of Corona, business-employment was completely closed due to the guidelines of the government. This has further worsened the financial condition of the parents. Last year, the state government had given a relaxation of 25 percent in fees. This year also, the demand for 25 percent relief in the academic year 2021-22 has been made to FRC Chairman Ashok Dave.

In most of the schools last year also no relief was given to the students in fees. During the Corona period, most schools had cut and retrenched the salaries of teachers by 20 to 25 percent. Many schools pay teachers less and enter more in the register. Presents wrong documents in FRC to get sanctioned hefty fees. FRC hikes up huge fees without verifying the documents. The parent board has demanded from the FRC to release the audit report of all the schools (in which complete information about the salary paid to the teachers).
