Western Railway will reinstate 82901/82902 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Tejas Express from 7th August. Due to lack of passengers and corona, this train stopped thrice in the last one and a half years. Booking will start with low flexi fare now. The fare will be almost equal to Shatabdi Express. 82901 Tejas will depart Mumbai Central at 15.45 hrs on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday and arrive Ahmedabad at 22.05 hrs on the same day.

82902 will depart Ahmedabad at 6.40 hrs on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday and arrive Mumbai Central at 13.05 hrs on the same day. This train will also stop at Andheri station till 31 October. This train will have AC chair car and AC executive chair car coaches. Kiosks will be set up at Ahmedabad, Surat and Mumbai Central stations for current booking.

Different fare for different class
It has been clarified in the circular of Western Railway that from November, the fare of Mumbai-Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express will be five percent more than the base fare for different coach classes. The increased fare will be applicable on advance booking as well. An official said that it has been decided to increase the fare from November.

Railways talking about these facilities

Western Railway says that Rajdhani Express has been upgraded to Tejas look. With this, passengers are being provided with high level amenities like improved interiors, seats with fire resistant silicone foam, roller blinds for sanitization instead of curtains on windows, mobile charging point for each passenger, berth reading light. This may result in a slight difference in the fare. It has been decided to increase the fare by five percent.
