ACB Sawai Madhopur team on Wednesday arrested Banetha police station in-charge Babulal Tepan and constable Ramdhan red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 15,000. This bribe was taken by the head constable Ramdhan of Banetha police station in lieu of early release of the gravel-laden tractor-trolley of the complainant, to reduce the sections against him and not to harass him in future.
ACB Sawai Madhopur ASP Surendra Kumar Sharma said that the complainant had complained to the ACB on June 10 about demanding a bribe of Rs 25,000 for early release of the tractor trolley confiscated by the police, in lieu of not assaulting the accused.

The same day the ACB Sawai Madhopur team verified the complaint. In this the complaint of the complainant was found to be true. The complainant had given Rs 10,000 as the first installment to Ramdhan from the complaint in the ACB. It was decided to pay the remaining Rs 15,000 bribe on Wednesday.
On this, the ACB team sent the complainant to the police according to the planning by applying chemical on 15 thousand rupees. The complainant went to Banetha police station to give this amount to Ramdhan Dhobi, a resident of Peeplya of Chauth Ka Barwada police station area of Chauth Ka Barwada police station area of Sawai Madhopur district, according to Babaicha Niwai Babulal Tepan of Jegal police station in-charge of Ajmer district at around 4 pm on Wednesday. Where this money was given to Head Constable Ramdhan.
Within a short time, the ACB team, sitting hiding outside the police station, caught the head constable Ramdhan and recovered Rs 15,000 from him for the bribe. On being proved to have taken this amount at the behest of police station in-charge Babulal Tapan, he was also arrested. On the other hand, there was a stir in the police station as soon as the action of the ACB was received. On receiving the information, Uniara DSP Pradeep Kumar Goel also reached the spot.
Trap laid for 5 hours
The team of ACB Sawai Madhopur laid their trap for about 5 hours to conduct trap action around Banetha police station. Police station in-charge Babulal and head constable Ramdhan were being monitored since Wednesday morning.
The ACB personnel were monitoring the activities of the police station since morning. After this, action was taken in the police station after paying the bribe amount by the complainant at 4.45 pm. This caused a stir in the police station. During this, the officers of the ACB interrogated the station in-charge Babulal Tepan and Head Constable Ramdhan for 2 hours and till the time of writing the news, the ACB was going on the activities of the police station. During this, checking was also done by the ACB at the official residence of the station in-charge.
