The industry is groaning due to the power crisis in Punjab. The Punjab government has imposed a 72-hour cut on the industry from 8 am on Wednesday to 8 am on Saturday. If the government does not withdraw this decision by tomorrow evening, then they will protest outside the Powercom office ‘Shakti Sadan’.
Government should give electricity for 6 days 12 hours cut off
Association President Sukhwinder said that the industry cannot run due to continuous cut of 72 hours. The industry is already running at a loss due to the Corona period, so this decision of the Punjab government will cause huge damage to the industry. He said that instead of imposing cuts, the Punjab government should give us uninterrupted power for 6 days 12 hours. With this the industry will be able to run and people getting employment from it will also get livelihood. He said that if the government does not take a satisfactory answer or decision by tomorrow evening, then they will protest. In which industry owners from other places besides the focal point will also participate.
