A surprising case has come to light in Pune. A woman police officer was beaten up for refusing to marry here. Not only this, the accused also threatened to make some private videos of the woman viral on social media. On the complaint of a 28-year-old female police officer, a case has been registered against the accused and investigation has been started.
The accused made a video taking advantage of friendship
The accused has been identified as Siddhant Bhagwanrao Jawale (30). Siddhant and the lady police officer had a good friendship, taking advantage of this, the accused made some videos of the woman and was blackmailing the woman, threatening to make them viral. The accused wanted the woman to marry him. Not only this, the accused had also threatened suicide if he did not marry. The woman alleges that he did not want to get married, instead he was demanding money while threatening to make the video and photo viral.
Accused wanted to take salary of five years
The woman said in her complaint, ‘The accused wanted me to leave my job and marry him. When I refused, he was threatening me to make videos and pictures viral, demanding five years’ salary. The woman further told that the accused was torturing her mentally and physically for almost a year. During this, he took money from them many times and also beat them up. Tired of all these problems, the victim has lodged an FIR at Lonikand police station in Pune on Wednesday.
The accused is absconding since the registration of the case and a team has been constituted to nab him.
