This is a photo of Rahila Furniturewala when she first reached the NCB office.
Celebrity manager Rahila Furniturewalla, who was arrested in the drugs case related to Sahil Khan, son-in-law of Nawab, Minorities Welfare Minister in Maharashtra government, has been released after spending 10 months in jail. Rahila, who came out of jail, told in an interview that she was implicated in this case only because she was the manager of a famous celebrity and the celebrity was on the radar of NCB.
Rahila said that no drugs were found from me, but yes, a small amount was definitely found with my sister. My sister got bail in a day, but I didn’t. I came to know about the reason later when I was asked a question about the actress. I was asked if I had seen him smoke and had bought drugs for him, which I refused.
Like Aryan, money was demanded from Rahila’s family too.
Rahila has also revealed that an attempt was made to extort money from her family the way it happened in Aryan Khan’s case. Rahila said that some people contacted my family and told them that if they give money then the case which is against me will be dismissed, but the credibility of these people was not known, so my family did not pay them. .
There was no recovery from Rahila
Rahila has been the manager of actress Dia Mirza. Dia Mirza was reportedly on the radar of NCB. Diya was also called for questioning. Rahila said the special NDPS court in the drugs case has observed that there is no evidence to link her involvement in financing, illegal trafficking and harboring criminals. Arguing Rahila’s bail, her lawyer Tarak Sayyed said she was falsely implicated in the case and added that no material was confiscated or recovered from Rahila.
