CITU State Committee Himachal Pradesh has fully supported the agitation of HRTC personnel against the harassment of Regional Manager. CITU will hold a demonstration in Shimla on July 26 in support of the movement of these workers. CITU State President Vijendra Mehra and General Secretary Prem Gautam have said that the state government is harassing the HRTC personnel, who provide excellent bus services from village to village, torturing their spirits. Even today, only HRTC personnel are doing the work of providing bus service to every person in the adverse geographical condition of Himachal Pradesh.

The officers and personnel working for the betterment of this department are being harassed. The transfer of the regional manager is also a part of this chain. The anger of the workers is not limited only to the transfer of the regional manager but also against the step-discrimination towards the corporation and the employees.

He said that the attitude of the State Government has always been discriminatory towards HRTC personnel. As a result of this, the pensioners of the corporation do not get pension for several months. Overtime wages of workers are not paid for several months. Attempts are being made to deliberately marginalize it by giving losses route to HRTC and efforts are being made for complete privatization.
