Rising cases of rape: Rape of 7-year-old girl in Katargam and 15-year-old girl in Khatodara, both of which are neighboring accused

Police have arrested a 20-year-old neighbor in connection with the rape of a 7-year-old girl in Katargam. In Khatodara, the minor was raped by the neighbor. 20-year-old Shrikant Panda of Gautam Nagar area does the work of getting lace bandages installed at his house. The mother of a 7-year-old girl works in Srikant’s house as a lace bandage and her father works as a vegetable seller.

On Thursday afternoon, when the girl’s mother had come to work at Srikant’s house as usual, he went straight to the girl’s house after finding her alone and raped her and then came home. As usual, when the girl’s mother went home, the girl was crying. When the mother asked the reason, the girl told the whole truth. After this, when the girl’s father returned home in the evening, he was also informed about this. After this, a case was registered at night at Katargam police station. After this the accused was trying to escape, but the police arrested him.

Minor raped on the pretext of marriage

A case of raping a 15-year-old minor girl has been registered in Khatodara. The accused Dilip Kewat, a resident of Khodiyar Nagar in Khatedara, first implicated the minor living in the neighborhood in his love trap and then raped her. According to the information, about four months ago, accused Dilip Kewat implicated the girl in a love trap on the pretext of marriage.

The accused used to rape her continuously by taking her to a place located near the house. When the family members of the victim girl came to know about this, they interrogated the accused, then he categorically refused to marry. After this, the family members of the victim girl have registered a case against the accused in Khatodara police station under the rape and POSCO Act.
