Himachal Road Transport Corporation Employees Coordination Committee, in the notice given to the management, said that they would be on a one-day work-and-a-half movement. In such a situation, people may have to face trouble.

Talking to reporters at Shimla’s Old Bus Stand on Wednesday, Secretary of the Coordination Committee, Khemendra Gupta said that the employees have been agitating for the last two months to make the Transport Corporation management and the people of the state aware of the problems of the employees of the Transport Corporation. . Liabilities of various financial benefits of about Rs 582 crore of corporation employees and pensioners are pending for years and it is accumulating even further.

These financial benefits have been extended to the employees of other departments long back. It has become a custom in the corporation that no financial benefits are given without agitation. For the last four years, there was no agitation by the employees. The management and the government do not give any financial benefits to the employees without asking.

Raised the demand to fulfill these demands
The Coordination Committee says that the management was informed on 14 September 2021 that a one-day Quit Work Andolan (strike) would be held on 18 October, for which notices were also issued. While the corporation management is deliberately instigating the employees for agitation. Because, the earlier agreements made by the Corporation Management with the Joint Coordination Committee have not been implemented.
13% IR from Jan 2016, 4% DA from Jan 2019, 5% from July 2019 & 6% from July 2021, Total DA 15%, 35 Months Night Over Time, Pension, Gratuity, Commutation, Leave Encashment, GPF, Medical Reimbursement, various types of arrears etc., pending financial payments of about Rs 582 crore of employees are due. This makes the employee feel cheated. The payment of financial arrears of employees is increasing day by day.

Not serious HRTC Management: Himachal Transport Employees Joint Coordination Committee also demonstrated at Old Bus Stand. On this occasion President Pyaar Singh Thakur, Vice President Man Singh Thakur, Secretary Khemendra Gupta, Spokesperson Sanjay Kumar, Treasurer Jagdish Chand, Harish Parashar, Tek Chand, Vinod Kumar, Milap Chand, Balkrishna, Padam Singh, Samar Chauhan, Desraj, Rai Singh , Dhaniram, Sukhram, Prem Singh, Anit Kumar, Rishi Lal, Gopal Lal, Devichand, Manoj Kumar, Naval Kishore, Tekchand, Purna Chand, Vijay Kumar also participated in this demonstration. The employees allege that the HRTC management is not serious about resolving the problems of the employees.
