Angry over Shilpa Shetty’s name being dragged after her husband’s arrest in a soft porn case, the actress has filed a defamation suit of Rs 25 crore against 29 media outlets and YouTube channels. Shilpa Shetty has moved the Bombay High Court accusing the media of maligning her image.

Raj Kundra’s bail application rejected
Earlier, a Mumbai court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of businessman Raj Kundra in a case related to allegedly making pornographic films and airing them through certain apps. Shilpa’s husband Kundra was arrested by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police on July 19. They were booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act.
A magisterial court here on Tuesday sent Kundra to 14-day judicial custody. Kundra had filed a bail plea but the court rejected it on Wednesday. The Bombay High Court on Tuesday also refused to grant him any immediate temporary relief.
