Recently, arrests were made in a murder case of four Bangladeshis living in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, illegally immigrating from Bangladesh. During the investigation of the police, a Bangladeshi accused, Azom Shamsu Sheikh, has been exposed to have involvement with the terrorist organization Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT). Parts of an unidentified man were recovered from a travel bag near Amaratpura village on the National Highway of Ankleshwar. After Amaratpura, male parts were also found in a travel bag from Sarangpura village.

Bharuch police had arrested 4 accused involved in this murder, revealing the secret of the travel bag. A Bangladeshi named Akbar, living in Ahmedabad, used to extort money by illegally bribing other Bangladeshi people in Ankleshwar by threatening to be caught by the police. The accused, including the woman stricken by Akbar’s threats, had called Akbar from Ahmedabad to Ankleshwar and had conspired to kill him.

After the murder, pieces of Akbar’s body were stuffed in travel bags and thrown in Amaratpura and Sarangpura. Ajom Sheikh, accused of this murder, has been found involved in a criminal case earlier also. Ajom is a resident of Kamarkula village in Bangladesh who lived in a rented house in Ankleshwar and Bharuch.
