A young man was stabbed and seriously injured by some miscreants near Khap Tola Revale Dhala of Bettiah’s Sathi police station area late in the night. The injured youth has been identified as Ravikant Kumar’s father Manoj Prasad, resident of Madhavpur Bairia, Gonaha police station area. After the attack, the miscreants also took 60 thousand rupees mobile from Ravikant’s pocket. There are many deep knife marks on Ravikant Kumar’s body. Thinking that Ravikant Kumar was dead, he threw him near Khap Tola Railway Dhala in Sathi police station area and left. But as soon as Ravikant came to his senses, he reached Koirgaonva of Sathi, covered in blood, after which the local people informed his family members over the phone.

After getting the information, the family members reached the nearest hospital Chanpatia Community Health Center for treatment, where Ravikant is undergoing treatment. At the same time, as soon as the Bettiah SP Upendranath Verma got the information about the incident, the SP instructed the Chanpatia police station to take immediate action, giving information about it. Chanpatia police station in-charge Manish Kumar said that the police have registered a case on the statement of the injured Ravikant. Further action has been initiated, whoever will be involved in this. He will be arrested as soon as possible.
