Thieves stole thousands of rupees late on Friday night by breaking the lock of 2 donation boxes of Rankini temple located in Kadma. The priest who came to open the temple on Saturday morning came to know about the theft. The thieves had entered the temple from the back of the temple. Thieves have stolen money from the donation box of Shiva temple and Kali temple located in the Rankini temple itself. The thieves left the coins in the donation box. While all the notes ran away. According to the people of the temple committee, about 20 thousand rupees have been stolen.

It is to be known that a few days ago thieves had stolen an urn worth thousands of rupees from the Kali temple situated at Kadma Bhatia Basti Chowk. There is resentment among the people due to the frequent theft incidents happening in the area. People allege that the police are unable to stop the incidents of theft.
