The police may have registered cross-contests on both the groups after a quarrel in two groups of eunuchs on Tuesday, but one group protested at Anardana Chowk on Wednesday, accusing them of bias. The eunuchs said that they have come to know that there is political pressure on the police to stop the arrest of Simran Mahant. The Mahants who are protesting have demanded an inquiry into the matter without bias. After the sit-in, all the eunuchs gathered and reached the police station at Kotwali.

Here Kotwali incharge Inderpal Singh Chauhan tried to convince the eunuchs a lot, but the eunuch did not listen and continued to create a ruckus inside the police station till late in the evening. Simran Mahant, on the other hand, denied all the charges imposed on him and demanded a fair investigation from the police. According to the police, the investigation is being done, the appropriate action will be taken against him. The Kotwali police have registered a case against both sides in the fight against Dae group of eunuchs. On the complaint of Poonam Mahant, the police arrested 70 to 80 unidentified people including Simran Mahant, Simmi Mahant, Parvati Mahant, Doli Mahant, Kajal, Sapna, Mamta, Vicki resident Patiala, Benefu resident Malerkotla, Sharma resident Guhla Cheeka, Guri, Jassa and Happy A case has been registered against him. On the complaint of Labo Mahant of the other party, police have registered a case against 10 to 12 unidentified people including Poonam Mahant, Nandi Mahant, Sonia, Babli, Zarina, Malkito, Kajal, Mamta. The police have registered a case against both and started investigation.
