Two members of the Academic Council of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University have been elected unopposed as syndicate members. This marked the return of Mahendra Chauhan to the syndicate after 3 years. Apart from this, Dean of Computer Science, Snehal Joshi has also been elected as a syndicate member. The university has issued a circular saying that both the members have been made syndicate members unopposed.
Two members of the Academic Council are elected as members of the Syndicate. Both the members were appointed. The election process for the members of the syndicate in different departments will start from next month. Mahendra Chauhan says that no one opposed him. When Shivendra Gupta was the vice-chancellor, many people including Mahendra Chauhan had turned away from university politics.
