Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Saturday that now the corona vaccination certificate can be obtained through WhatsApp in a few seconds. This decision of the government will facilitate those people who face difficulties in getting the vaccine certificate from the Kovin portal or app.
Health Minister gave information on social media
The Health Ministry said that the person who wants to get the vaccination certificate has to send a message from his mobile to a WhatsApp number. After this, the vaccine certificate will be sent to him within a few seconds. In his tweet, he described this move of the government as a great decision for the common man.
OTP will come on the registered number
To get the certificate, the number +91 9013151515 has to be saved in the mobile. After this, a message will have to be sent to this number by writing a covid certificate. OTP will come on the number from which registration for vaccination will be done. He also has to send it back by writing in the message box of WhatsApp. After this, the Kovid certificate will come in a few seconds.
Congress MP Tharoor also praised
Apart from the Health Ministry, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has also explained the process of obtaining the certificate. Sharing the information on social media, he said that whenever the government has done any good work, I have always praised that work. Being critical of the Kovin app, I would say that the government has taken a great step. Now to get the vaccination certificate, all you have to do is send a WhatsApp message to a number and you will get the certificate in no time.
Earlier the certificate was available on Kovin and Umang app
Earlier, to download the vaccination certificate, the help of Kovin App or Portal, Arogya Setu and Umang App had to be taken. Certificates can still be obtained through this process. After taking one dose of vaccine, provisional and final certificate is given after both the doses.
