In Gurgaon district, 9488 people were administered the first and second doses of the anti-corona vaccine on Wednesday in the vaccination camps being run as a campaign to put brakes on the pace of corona. With today’s figure, 1513540 citizens have been vaccinated in the district so far.
Dr. MP Singh, who is heading the vaccination campaign in the district, said that under the vaccination campaign, 4166 people in the age group of 18 to 44 years were given the first dose in 71 vaccination centers of government and private hospitals in the district today. With this, the second dose of the vaccine was administered to 1922 people.
Dr Singh said that today 626 citizens above 45 years of age were vaccinated with the first anti-coronavirus vaccine. Also, 2548 people got their second dose of the vaccine. Giving information about the vaccine administered to the health care workers, he said that today 07 health workers were given the first dose and 83 health workers were given the second dose. On Wednesday, 49 people were administered the second dose of Covishield at Sector 31 Polyclinic, reserved for foreign nationals. Today 195 people were vaccinated through the mobile vaccination van being run in the same slum area.
On Wednesday, 06 frontline workers were given the first dose of corona and 125 the second dose of the vaccine. Along with this, 175 people got their vaccine today in the vaccination camp held at HUDA City Metro Station. He said that so far 1513540 people have been vaccinated in the district. Appealing to the residents of the district, Dr. MP Singh said that all citizens must get themselves and all their close ones vaccinated to prevent corona infection.
