  • Vaccine was given to 90 LPG staff and 100 auto drivers on Friday

The Health Department has received only one day’s vaccine from the headquarters. After getting the vaccine, the Health Department has also made preparations for the vaccination on Saturday. District Immunization Officer Dr Vikas Kumar Rana informed that 8300 doses of Covaccine have been allotted. Vaccination will be done in all the blocks of the district on Saturday.

For this 43 centers have been selected. A target has been fixed to vaccinate 8100 people at all the centres. Vaccine will be given only to the beneficiaries of 18 to 44 years in Sadar Hospital and Red Cross in the city. Only those youths who have made online slot booking will get the vaccine. For this, 400-400 doses have been made available in Red Cross Society and Sadar Hospital. On-spot registration will not be done at these centres.

Gas distributor boys and drivers got vaccinated

On Friday, 90 LPG staff and 100 auto drivers were given the vaccine. LPG staff at the campus of Vindhyachal Gas Agency at Memco Mor and auto drivers at Railway Auditorium were vaccinated. The vaccine was given to 20 at Apollo Hospitals and 190 from two mobile units.
