Vaccination: Vaccines will not take two more days due to lack of stock

Vaccination will be stopped in the state for the next two days. All vaccination centers of Surat Municipal Corporation remained closed on Wednesday. Due to this there was a huge rush of people to get the vaccine in private hospitals. On Wednesday, 460 people were vaccinated in private hospitals. Vaccination is going on in 19 private hospitals in the city. Due to lack of vaccine with the government, vaccination will be stopped for the next two days. Stopping vaccination will cause problems for those taking the second dose.

It is noteworthy that due to the lack of stock of the vaccine, for the last one week, those who got the first dose in April are getting worried for the second dose. They are making rounds of vaccination centers to get the second dose. On Tuesday itself, the vaccine was over at the Regional Vaccine Storage Center located on the campus of the Civil Hospital. Even on Wednesday, there was confusion over the arrival of the vaccine. Due to the lack of vaccine, only 4538 vaccines were administered at 40 centers of the Metropolitan Municipality on Tuesday. Earlier on Monday, 18604 vaccines were administered.
