But the speed with which the vaccine is being made available here, in such a situation, even 10% of the population will not be able to take the second dose. It has been 6 months since the vaccination started.

Till now only 5.18% people have got second dose. Whereas only 19.2% of the population has received the first dose. About 7.75 lakh vaccines were made available in the district in six months. Talking about the total vaccination, till July 9, 7,54,417 have been vaccinated in Ranchi. In this, the first dose is 5,94,003 and the second dose is 1,60,414. With the speed at which vaccination is going on, it will take 5 years 10 months for 60% of the population to get the vaccine.

1730 people got vaccinated

Vaccination was completely affected due to lack of vaccine. On Friday, apart from the mobile van, only three centers were vaccinated. A total of 1730 people could get the vaccine. In this, the first dose was 547 and the second dose was on 1183.

If the dosage is getting less in the government, then 6 thousand people got the vaccine by paying money in 7 days.

In July, the Center had assured the state to provide 33 lakh vaccines, but till July 15, only 9.5 lakh schedules have been issued. The result is that people are reaching the centers to get the vaccine, but are returning due to non-availability of doses. Due to lack of vaccine in government centers, people are going to private centers and taking the vaccine by paying money. In the last one week, where 55836 people have been vaccinated, about 6 thousand doses have been administered in private centers.

After getting 8600 doses of Covaccine, preparations are on to increase the speed of vaccination again on Saturday. Vaccine facility will be available in 41 centers. In this 35 urban and 8 rural centers have been made. While 8200 doses will be available in urban centres, 1900 sessions have been made in rural centres. According to DRCHO Dr. Shashibhushan Khalkho, the target of 10100 will be. If the dose is left then the vaccination will continue on Sunday, if the dose is over then the vaccination may be affected.
